"The reminders really do make a difference"
Bottom line: the reminders really help. I didn’t realize how much I needed that extra nudge until I started using them, but they’ve made it a lot easier to stay on track and not forget the little things. It’s simple, but that’s what makes it so useful
"I’ve been using it for a…"
I’ve been using it for a bit now, i’ve run into almost no bugs. Part of me keeps waiting for something weird to pop up because that usually happens with stuff like this, but so far it’s been oddly smooth.
"Felt a bit rushed and light on advanced material"
I was hoping for a deeper dive into the more advanced stuff, but it ended up feeling light. I also felt a little pressured to keep moving through it instead of really taking time to understand the harder parts. It’s not bad, but I expected more depth...
"The projects were actually helpful and…"
The projects were actually helpful and made it easier for me to understand how things work in a practical way. That said, I personally felt like some of the explanations moved a little too quickly, so I had to pause and figure parts out on my own. Overall, it was useful, but I think it would be even better with a bit more time spent breaking things down.

"Nice confidence boost for job applications"
I finished a few Mimo lessons and added the certificate to my LinkedIn and CV. Obviously it’s not the same as having a university degree or anything, but it was a nice way to show that I’m actively learning, and it made me feel more confident applying for junior roles. Downloading the certificate was really straightforward too. I had a small question about it and support basically said something like, “Yep, you can download it from your profile and use it on LinkedIn,” which was helpful. For the price and the time it takes, I’d say it’s worth it.

"Decent for beginners, but feels a bit padded"
I used Mimo to get some hands-on coding practice, it’s okay if you’re starting from zero. The lessons are short, simple, and easy to follow, which I liked at first. But after a while, it started feeling repetitive, almost like they were stretching out the basics more than they needed to. If you already know a little coding, you might get bored fast. Not bad, just not as useful as I hoped. 3 stars from me.

"Pretty easy to keep up with"
Overall, it was easy to follow, maybe like 80% of the time. There were just a few spots where things moved a bit too fast and I had to pause or go back for a minute, but nothing too frustrating
"I actually really like the Mimo lessons…"
I actually really like the Mimo lessons, they’re clear and fun to go through. But oh my gosh, the app performance can be such a rollercoaster. Sometimes it freezes while loading a lesson or takes forever to open, and I’m just sitting there dramatically losing my will to study. It’s not the worst thing ever, but it’s definitely annoying enough to make me sigh at my phone. Really hope they fix it soon because the lessons themselves are worth it.

"Great for Trying Different Coding Languages"
I originally started using Mimo for Python, but I ended up checking out SQL and JavaScript too. I like that it doesn’t lock you into just one path, so I can switch around depending on what I’m in the mood to learn. Some of the lessons are short, maybe even a little too short at times, but they’re great for reviewing the basics and getting a feel for different languages. I can definitely see myself keeping it around and coming back to it whenever I want to practice or try something new

"Clear pricing , no surprises"
I really appreciated that Mimo shows the price upfront before you pay . There wasn’t any hidden stuff or random surprise charges later , which made the decision way easier for me

"A Bit Rushed, But Honestly Not Bad"
Sometimes the lessons feel a little rushed, like I’m barely keeping up and suddenly we’re moving on. I was kind of annoyed at first, honestly. But then I realized I’m still picking things up and getting through it, so it’s not a big deal. Overall, it’s okay.

"Good for starting out, but I still felt kind of left on my own"
I tried Mimo because I’ve never really coded before and needed something that wouldn’t make me feel completely lost right away. To be fair, it is easy to get into. The lessons are short and simple, so at first I felt like maybe I could actually keep up for once. But after a while, it started feeling a little too basic. A lot of the time I was just tapping answers and moving forward without really understanding why something worked. Then I’d get stuck and have to go search things up somewhere else, which was frustrating because I thought the app would explain it better. It’s not a bad app, especially if you’re a total beginner like me and just want a first taste of coding. I just wouldn’t rely on it by itself, because it kind of leaves you to figure out the deeper stuff on your own.

"I’ve been using Mimo to learn coding…"
I’ve been using mimo to learn coding, the course content is really clear and easy to follow. I like that it breaks everything down into small chunks, so it doesn’t feel overwhelming or confusing. For learning the basics, I think it’s valuable and definitely worth trying

"Wanted to enjoy it more, but it feels clunky"
I really wanted to like Mimo because it reminded me of when I first got excited about learning to code and would squeeze in little practice sessions whenever I had a few minutes. The lessons themselves are easy to follow, which I appreciated, but the app can feel clunky. Sometimes it’s not obvious where to go next, and there were moments where it loaded slowly or froze on me. I also kept getting kicked back to menus when I just wanted to keep going, which got frustrating. It’s fine for quick practice, but the overall experience just isn’t as smooth as I hoped it would be.

"Mimo actually keeps pulling me back in"
I didn’t think the streak thing would get me, but here we are. The little checkpoints make it feel like I’m actually moving forward, even if my brain is all over the place that day. Sometimes I only have 10 minutes, sometimes I open it just because I don’t want to lose the streak, and somehow that still turns into learning a bit. Mimo has basically become a daily habit for me now...

"Clean, simple, and easy to use"
I tried out Mimo for a while, and honestly — it’s a smooth experience. The site looks clean, lessons load fast, and it’s easy to follow along without feeling lost. I did take off one star because a few sections felt a bit repetitive, but overall, it was a nice and helpful experience

"They Did Respond, Just Not as Fast as I’d Like"
They did get back to me, so I’ll give them credit for that. It was just a little slower than I personally like, my standard is usually a quicker response, especially when I’m waiting on something. Overall, not bad, just could’ve been more prompt.
"Good for getting started with coding"
I’ve been using Mimo on and off, and it’s handy if you want to learn coding in small chunks. The lessons are quick, so it doesn’t feel like you have to sit down for hours or anything. I liked that some of what I learned actually felt useful for real projects later, not just random practice stuff. It’s not perfect though... a few sections felt way too easy, and sometimes I wished it went a bit deeper, but overall it helped me get started and made coding feel less intimidating.

"Keeps me motivated day to day"
I’ve been using Mimo for daily learning, and I really like how it shows my progress and streaks. It gives me that little push to keep going, i trust my instinct on apps like this quickly, if it helps me stay consistent, that says a lot. The tracking can feel a bit too simple at times, but overall it works well for building a daily habit. 4 stars from me.

"Good for beginners, but I did feel a bit brushed off"
I started using mimo.org because I wanted to learn coding and had no idea where to begin. The lessons are short and easy to follow, which helped me not feel overwhelmed. I also like the interactive parts where you actually type code and see right away if it works, that felt way more useful to me than just sitting through videos. Some of it does repeat a bit, but for me that wasn’t a bad thing since it helped the basics stick. The only thing is that at times I felt a little dismissed when I got stuck, like the app was just moving me along instead of really helping me understand what I missed. Still, overall it’s a good app/site if you’re a beginner like me and just need a simple place to start
